1. NEVZA Championships for U17 and U19 junior men and women will be organised every year for the members of NEVZA. Other nations can be invited to the championships, if the members of NEVZA agree.
2. A NEVZA Technical meeting will be held every year in November. The place and date of the Championship will be decided at this meeting. The organising country shall give information about the place and time of the event, travel arrangements, lodging, halls etc. The CEV standards regarding distance from International Airport will be used. All extra costs regarding long jurneys from International Airport are at the expance of the organising country.
3. Schedule
3.1 If a Country can not host the event, it is obliged to find a new host. This shall be desided at the NEVZA Technical Meeting the year before.
3.2 If a Country wishes to arrange because of e.g. a jubilee, it shall be possible to change the schedule. This shall be desided at the NEVZA Technical meeting minimum the year before.
4. NEVZA Championships for U17 and U19 junior men and women will in principal be organised in September. Changes to the time must be presented by the organising country at the NEVZA Technical meeting. A majority wote will then deside.
5. Players participating in category U19 shall be aged 18 years or younger during the whole year when the tournament will take place.
Players participating in category U17 shall be aged 16 years or younger during the whole year when the tournament will take place.
Players participating in category U15 shall be aged 14 years or younger during the whole year when the tournament will take place.
Players participating for Iceland, Faro Islands and Greenland are allowed to play with players one year older. The age of the players from other countries invited to the championships will be decided by NEVZA.
6. NEVZA championships will be organised if there are 3 countries or more registered.
7. Administrative deadlines.
7.1 The site of the tournament will be informed at the NEVZA Technical Meeting one year before the tournament is to take place.
7.2 Preliminary registrations will take place at the same meeting.
7.3 Invitation will be sent to the NEVZA members no later than 31st of December.
7.4 Final registration will be made no later than 30th of January.
7.5 Detailed information about competition hall, places for lodging and match schedule will be sent to General Secretary of NEVZA for approval no later than 28th of February.
7.6 General Secretary of NEVZA will send the approval no later than 31st of March
7.7 Official form CH-05 including information about arrival- and departure
times must reach the organiser no later than 30 days before the start
of the tournament.
7.8 Official CH-05bis will be presented to the organiser upon arrival.
8. Breach of deadlines and fines.
8.1 Late regestration according to 7.4: A fine of 50 euros pr. team to the
organising country.
8.2 Withdrawl of team before the 1st of March: A fine of 500 euros to the organising country.
8.3 Withdrawl of team after the 1st of May or no show: A fine of 500 euros and full pr. Diem (12 persons) to the organising country.
8.4 Late CH-05 form: A fine of 200 euros to the organising country.
8.5 Late arriwal/early departure: A fine of 200 euros pr. team to the organising Country.
8.6 The organising country will send in a rapport to NEVZA regarding breaches. NEVZA sanctions the countries and collects the fines for the organising country.
8.7 Breach of 7.3 – Invitation from the organisating country: Fine of 200 euros
8.8 Breach of 7.5 – Detailed information from the organisating country: Fine of 200 euros
9. NEVZA Championships shall be organised and played under the Official Volleyball rules laid down by the FIVB and applications of the rules are decided by NEVZA.
10. Participating countries take care of their own travel cost to and from the site of the tournament. The distance shall not be more than the CEV standards according to §2. Upon request, the organiser will book transport to and from the nearest international airport at the participating teams cost. The nearest international airport will be presented according to §7.1 and in the invitation §7.3.
11. Arrival day is one day before the start of the tournament. Departure day is one day after the end of the tournament. Expenses for food and lodging will be borne by the organising country for all participants the day of arrival until the day of departure. The teams take care of their own costs during transportation to or from the site of the tournament.
12. The food compromises 3 meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
13. Lodging will be of reasonable standards for each level and age group.
14. Each delegation consists of a maximum of 14 players, 4 officials and one referee. Referees should be of highest national level in each country.
Countries who do not bring a referee, will pay 500 EURO to the organiser.
15. Countries participating with 2 teams in the same tournament, at the same site, should only bring one referee.
16. Referees will be available during the whole tournament.
17. The organiser shall provide laundryfacilities to each participating team.
18. Technical meeting
18.1 At the arriwalday there will be held a Technical meeting.
18.2 There shall be elected a control committee: Chairman, 2nd member and 3rd member. The chairman should be from the organising country and the other members from participating countries.
18.3 The control committee shall deside in all matters regarding complains, breaches, bad behavior during matches, sanctions etc.
18.4 The organising committee shall present a plan regarding:
19. Each country has the right to train one hour per day, including the day of arrival. It is not obliged to schedule training in the competition hall.
20. If there are 3 countries participating, all countries will play 2 matches against each country. The matches will be played during 2 or 3 days.
21. If there are 4 countries participating, all countries will play one match against each country. The matches will be played during 3 days.
22. If there are 5 countries participating, all countries will play one match against each other. The matches will be played during 3 days. There will be at least 5 hours between the starting times of the matches for teams playing two matches in one day. The two best ranked teams play the last match in the tournament. Last years results will set the ranking of the teams.
23. If there are 6 countries participating, there will be 2 groups. Last years results will set the ranking of the teams. The matches will be played during 3 days and in two halls/courts if there are both boys and girls, or two groupages, playing championships at the same time and site. There will be at least 5 hours between the starting times of the matches for teams playing two matches in one day. The matchschedule will be as follows:

25. In case of a tie
26. A total of 18 medals each will be given to the three first teams in all NEVZA championships and there will be a cup for the winning team.
27. NEVZA organises medals, and the organiser is responsabile of the cup.
28. Per diem etc.
28.1 The participating countries pay 35 euro pr. person per day for each
participating player and official. A total sum of 140 euros pr. person.
28.2 All participating countries pay for 4 full days even if arrival is late and or if the departure is earlier.
28.3 The organiser sends out an Invoice to all participating countries 10 days before the Tournament. The total amount should be at the account of the organiser before the day of arrival.
28.4 A receipt shall be presented at the Technical Meeting during the Tournament.
28.5 Countries sending 2 teams and only 1 referee, should pay 50 euros to cover extra costs to the organiser.
